Drove 45 minutes to pick up sloppy joes for Xmas Eve. As usual they were absolutely delicious!!! John was able to take a few minutes to make me an extra tray as we needed more than our original order. Their food is amazing, and they are very reasonable. All staff that I interacted with were fantastic!!! Definitely recommend!!!

Fantastic little spot with old-fashioned charm. I'm visiting from PA for work, and I was able to get in and out on my lunch break, quick and easy. Customers and staff were very friendly with one another. Good quality breakfast sandwich!!

I just went to C&J for the first time. After reading comments about the gourmet chicken sandwich (chicken cutlet, mutz, roasted reds and balsamic i decided to order one. I was not disappointed! Excellent sandwich. I will definitely return next time I am in town for lunch.

My partner grew up in Madison and loves this place, so when I started physical therapy down the street I stopped for a sloppy joe. Came back several times to get three varieties. Awesome sandwiches and VERY nice, accepting staff. Will always look for an opportunity to return here. Highly recommended!

This place is the absolute best. Great old school vibe, sandwiches insanely good (get their cutlet, mutz, roasted reds and balsamic and thank me later), and they are great people. Feels like one of the under assuming institutions that makes Madison special.
